Panel Discussion: Supporting Local Food Systems

This will be an informal discussion during lunch on the topic of supporting local food systems. It will take place in Luther's cafeteria on the lower floor of the Student Union on Saturday, January 23 starting at 11:15 AM. Joining the conversation will be Donna Bauck - Luther College Dining Services General Manager; Maren Stumme-Diers - Luther College Assistant Sustainability Coordinator; John Palmer – Organic Valley farmer; and Dan Bellrichard – Luther College Sustainability Coordinator.

A discounted lunch is being offered to anyone with a film festival wristband for $5.00 (normally a $7.00 public rate). Local food will be featured for this meal. For those wishing to attend the discussion, but not eat lunch, an alternate door on the south side of the cafeteria will be open. No outside food will be allowed in (no "brown bagging" it).
