Driftless: A Film About Decorah by Decorah

On Wednesday, October 7, 2015, Jonathan Rattner offered information on a crowd-sourced documentary about the people of Decorah.  More specifically, he noted, “the session will officially introduce the project to the Decorah community, and will explain the production process – along with examples and tips – to attendees.”

He explained the collage film, tentatively titled Driftless: A Film About Decorah by Decorah, “will consist of short videos, shot by community members on smartphones, featuring a person they care about doing what that person loves or finds interesting.”  The film was premiered at the Steyer Opera House at the Oneota Film Festival gala on March 4, 2016.
